Services: Friday, Nov. 7, 2008

Longtime Seminole resident Cynthia Gail Yocham, 51, passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, at her daughter's home, in Seminole. Cindy dued after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born March 18, 1957, in Topeka, Kan. to Wayne and Joyce (Parker) Yocham.

She worked at Oklahoma Custom Coating for the past 8 years and had worked at the Women's Shelter, in Seminole. She was a member of The First Freewill Baptist Church, in Seminole. She has been a resident for the past 12 years moving to Seminole from Richmond, Va.

Cynthia loved her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed getting to hear them sing and read the Bible to her. She was also an avid worker for domestic violence and pancreatic cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Yocham, of Norman; daughter and son-in- law, Carissa and Brad Hendryx of Seminole; one son, Richie Kelley, of Seminole; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Matt and Randi Yocham of Norman, and Mike and Christy Yocham of Grand Lake; grandchildren, Mariah Hendryx, Kaylynn Hendryx, Steven Hendryx and Haley Hendryx, all of Seminole; nephews, Kye and Carter Yocham, of Norman; neices Caiden and Kinley Yocham, of Norman; and special sons Jared Bender, Joseph Meeks, Aaron Palmer, Davey Whitley, and the late Derek Underwood.

Casket bearers will be Matt Yocham, Steven Hendryx, Carter Yocham, Kye Yocham. Sam Adkisson and Lee Hughes.

Honorary bearers wil be Roger and Lisa Mills, Rita Ballew, nurses of Heartland Hospice, Minda Assiddiq, Joy Williamson, and Paulette Reece.

Funeral services were planned for Friday, Nov 7, at the First Freewill Babtist Church, northwest of Seminole on Highway 3; burial will follow at Little Cemetery with Rev. David McDougal.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorial donations may be made at the funeral home to help with service expenses.

Services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole.
