Longtime Seminole resident Theda (Pease) Landrith, 83, died, Monday, March 16 2009, at Tecumseh, Okla.
Theda was born Dec 24 1925 to James Lester and Flora (Smith) Pease. Theda was a life long resident of Seminole and died after a short illness
Theda attended Seminole High School and married Jack Landdrith in Revo, Nevada on Dec 27, 1942, he preceded in death on Jn 18, 1995.
Theda worked for Douglas Aircraft during Wdorld War II and in later years was a longtime sales clerk at Jones Jewelry in Seminole
She is survived by her children, Jackie and Bob Pock of Shawnee, Rhonda and Skip Meyers of Tecumseh, and Kelly and Angela Landrithof Texas; her siblings Lester and Fran Pease, of Illinois,Myra Lawson of California, Damon and Deloris Pease of Mustang, Ok., Dale Pease of Texas, Linda and Jimmy Jones of Oklahoma City,and Lesanna and Gregg Presley of El Reno, Okla. Theda is also survived by 5 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family would liketo give special thanks to Loving Care Hospice in Shawnee for the fine cared they gave Mrs. Landrith.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darryl Tiller officiateing.
Serving as casket bearers areSkip Myers, J.T. Walker, Jesse Myers, Jimmy Jones,Bob Pack and David Pease, Jr. Burial will be at the Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma.
Casket will remain open till service time then will be closed.
