ELVIN "DALE" BEATY
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Elvin "Dale" Beaty are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.

Beaty, 44, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Seminole. He was born Aug. 29, 1963 in Mena, Ark., to Harold Wayne Beaty and Bertie Belvina (Arthur) Stone.

He was a welder for Hayes Axle and Willow Furniture Company. On May 6, 1985 he married Shirley Jean Beaty in Seminole.

He was preceded in death by his parents,and stepfathers: his mother, Bertie Stone; his father, Wayne Beaty; Jimmy Stone and Ernest "E.P." Sorrels.

Surviving is his wife of the home; three sons: Derik Harris of Ada, Andrew Beaty and Cash Beaty, both of Seminole; one daughter, Brandy Cannon of Wicks, Ark; one brother, Roberts Blackford Ebbs of Bartlesville; one grandchild.

Casket Bearers will be: Cash Beaty, Justin Blackford, Andrew Beaty, Derek Harris, Josh Brown, and Jerry Beaty.
