Nola Beatrice Arnold, 77, Del City, died Monday, April 6, 2009. She was born Feb 1, 1932, at Taft, Ark., the daughter of William Jackson "Willie" and Polly Ann McMahan. She attended Hickory Grove School near Ozark, Ark., and
was graduated from high school in Arkansas.
After graduation, she moved to Oklahoma where on April 3, 1952, she married Leonard Melvin Arnold, to whom she remained married for 57 years. She was subsequently a homemaker and resident of Shawnee and Del City and formerly worked at the Tinker Field Air Force Base in Midwest City.
She was the mother of two sons, Roger Wayne Arnold, 56, Wichita, Kansas and John Alan Arnold, 51, Alexandra, Virginia. Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Midwest City and was a devoted wife and mother who touched everyone's life who ever knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard, two sons, Toger and John; two daughters-in-law, Renee and Suzanne; five step-grandchildren, Miriam Porter, San Pedro, California, Ruth Allen, Alexandria, Virginia, Andrew Gleghorn, West Palm Beach, Florida, Lacy Fields, Jefferson City, Missouri, and David Fields,
Overland Park, Kansas; seven step-great-grandchildren, Hannah Allen, Hollywood, California, Daniel Allen, Alexandria, Virginia, Robert and Tanner Gleghorn, Henrietta, Oklahoma, and Ryan, Colton and Carson Gleghorn, Springdale, Arkansas;
and one step-great-great-grandchild, Wesley Allen, Hollywood, California.
Funeral services for Mrs. Arnold will be held at the Free Methodist Church of Midwest City, 6500 E. Reno, at 1:30 p.m.on Saturday, April 11. Burial
will follow at Little Cemetery, Seminole.
