Charlotte Ann "Granny" Weir
November 1, 1931 - September 21, 2021

Services celebrating and remembering the life of Charlotte Ann Weir will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Bible Church of Owasso. Charlotte faithfully served her Lord and Savior for over 50 years. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah. Visitation will be 3-5, Sunday, at the church, with family there to receive visitors. Charlotte came face to face with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was 89.

Born in Paris, AR on November 1, 1931 to John Russell and Blanche Idelle (Cravens) Corley, Charlotte was raised and educated in Scranton, AR. She graduated as Valedictorian from Scranton High School. On March 8, 1952, in Tulsa, OK, Charlotte married the love of her life, Bob Weir. Their union was gifted with four children, Steve, Russ, Terri and Duke.

A lady that loved the Lord and lived her life by the instructions she found in God's Word, Charlotte excelled at being a wife, mother and "Granny." She was a seamstress extraordinaire, making all of her daughter's clothes until she was married. It was this gift that enabled Charlotte to make beautiful hand pieced quilts. Those quilts are a true treasure for those family and friends who have them. When an opportunity presented itself for Charlotte and Bob to dine out, the Hammett House restaurant was always the destination of choice. It was there that they made countless friendships that have lasted a life time.

No story about Charlotte would be complete unless you mentioned what would be the most important thing, she would want you to know. That no family has to be absent of hope of where they will spend eternity. Charlotte and Bob were faithful in sharing the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Together they faithfully served for over 15 years at the Bible Church of Owasso and over 40 years at Tulsa Bible Church. Not only were they door greeters on Sunday, making sure everyone there felt welcome but Charlotte was always there with her one of kind baby quilt whenever a family member had a new baby.

Although small in stature, Charlotte has left a huge footprint and a legacy that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 69 years, Bob, children, Steve Weir and wife Pam, Russ Weir and wife Kelly, Terri Maltsberger and husband Joe, and Duke Weir and wife Ann, grandchildren, Micah Maltsberger and wife Bruna, Jared Weir and wife Sarah, Morgan Bogart and husband Phillip, Lindsay Fetters and husband Chris, Kristin Harris and husband Eric, Huston Weir and wife Tia, Courtney Weir, Maggie Richards and husband Chris, Caleb Weir and wife Holly, Michael Weir and Kelsey Weir, over 20 great grandchildren, brothers, Bruce Corley and wife Linda, and Bill Corley and wife Donna, special niece, Anne Wykoff and husband Larry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Mitchell Maltsberger, brothers, Ken and Larry Corley, and sister, Sharon Wallace.

In lieu of flowers or other condolences, please consider making a donation in Charlotte's name to the Bible Church of Owasso Building Fund at 201 N. Main Street, Owasso, OK 74055.
