Violet Marie Morris was born on June 18, 1921 in Snider, Oklahoma to Emory E. and Nellie Mae (Warren) Morris.
She attended Chelsea High School. She married Carl Leroy Higeons on September 18, 1940 at Epworth Methodist Church in Chelsea, Oklahoma. They were married 68 years. She was a loving homemaker and loved being with her family and friends. Violet also enjoyed a close relationship with her husband's family.
She passed away peacefully at her home in Owasso Thursday morning July 31, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Emory "Jack" Morris and Sister Ila Morris.
She is survived by: Husband Carl of the home in Owasso, Oklahoma, Two Sons, Carl Leroy Higeons and wife Marilyn of Talala, Oklahoma and Jerald Leon Higeons of Nowata, Oklahoma and One Daughter, Janet Marie Ingmire of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One Brother, Royce Morris and wife Wanda Morris of Chelsea, Oklahoma and One Sister, Velma Jones and husband Chester of Galt, California. Five Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Tuesday August 5th at Epworth United Methodist Church in Chelsea, Oklahoma with Reverend Darrell Cox Officiating. Music will be provided by Carol Dixon and Sandra Rogers.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Talala, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Seaman-Blanke Funeral Service of Chelsea, Oklahoma.
