Bill Jack Kelton
Bill was born June 20, 1928 in Springfield, Missouri to William Roy and Margaret (Godfrey) Kelton. He Graduated from Chelsea High School in 1945 and Tulsa University in 1956. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was in the Heavy Tank Company 15th Infantry, he received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Korean Service Medal, Bronze Star & Purple Heart.
He married Sue Ann Humphrey on December 26, 1952 in Tulsa. He was a member of the American Legion, American Veterans. He served on the Chelsea City Council for many years where he also served as Mayor.
He went to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon at his home in Chelsea.
His Parents, son Billy Jack, and sisters Kathleen Butler, Pauline Bradley and Georgia Lee preceded him in death.
He is survived by: His Wife, Sue of the Home; Two Sons, George Kelton and wife Karen of Chelsea, Oklahoma. Paul Kelton and wife Stephanie of Lawrence Kansas. Two Daughters, Meg Moss and husband Gary of Chelsea, OK Katie Proctor and Ed Dunlap of Houston, Texas. Twelve Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren. And a host of other relatives and friends.
