Amos "Everett" Peace
March 7, 1944 - November 15, 2021

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

Everett went home to be with his Lord on November 15, 2021.

Everett was born in Talala, Oklahoma, to Amos and Dorothy (Barnes) Peace on March 7, 1944. Everett married his sweetheart, Zaundra, July 22, 1962. He pastored three churches starting at the age of nineteen and served over forty years at Dewey First Free Will Baptist Church. He served on many boards within the Northeast Association of Free Will Baptists and directed youth camps for many years.

Everett liked to fish, hunt, and be out in the woods. He loved working with his hands on small motors. He also loved to go backroad exploring with his sweetheart, friends, and family. He loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his father Amos; three brothers, Ervin, Leonard (Inky), and Simon (Hank), and one sister, Frances.

Everett is survived by his wife Zaundra of 59 years; four children, Venus and husband Craig Anderson of Pinehurst, Idaho, Ken Peace and his wife Angie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Shelley and her husband Jerry Monday of Wann, Oklahoma, and Wayne and his wife Charlene Peace of Dewey, Oklahoma; his mother Dorothy Peace of Claremore; two sisters, Bonita Hanes of Claremore and Donna McDonald of Nowata; twelve grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to "My Refuge", 502 Parkview Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74003.

Everett's family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday and visitation will also be held from 10-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 18th at Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel, 113 S. Osage, Dewey, OK.

Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 19th, at Dewey United Methodist Church. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be made at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com
