Obituary for Shad Lee Wright, Jr.
Shad Lee Wright, Jr. was born November 28, 1989 in Ft. Myers, Florida to Lisa Michelle Franchi and Shad Lee Wright. He passed away February 16, 2015 at Amarillo, Texas at the age of 25 years, 2 months and 18 days.
Shad grew up in Amarillo, Texas and attended schools within the Canyon Independent school district. During his school years, Shad was active in Kids Incorporated league participating in football, basketball and soccer. Shad graduated from Randall High School in 2008 and held various jobs within the oil and natural gas industry. In his free time Shad enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, fishing, riding horses and caring for animals.
He was preceded in death by his father, Shad Lee Wright, sister, Cassie Wright, great grandparents, Elda Wright, Opal Mabra, Carl Parman, Alene Parman and Johnny Land.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Lucero and husband, Ben; grandparents, Ronnie and Carlene Wright and Shelly Land; great grandmother, Margaret Land; 2 half brothers, Brian Lucero and Daniel Lucero, all of Amarillo, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
