William Gale Wells was born July 14, 1943 in Pampa, Texas to Lila
Grace (Wells) and William Fredrick Wells. He passed away April 9,
2019 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 75 years, 8 months and
26 days.
William grew up in Reydon, Oklahoma where he attended high school. He worked at North Plains Electric Cooperative in Canadian, Texas, then later started trucking. He married Karin Manzer October 16, 1984 in Wheeler, Texas. They made their home in Reydon, Oklahoma.
William was preceded in death by his parents William Fredrick and Lila Wells, brothers, John Wells and Roy Lee Wells, brothers in law, Jay Sibley and James Johnson and two nephews, Richard Wells and Bert Wells.
He is survived by his wife, Karin Wells of the home. Children by marriage 2 sons Mike Lucas and wife Rose of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Ray Don Lucas and wife Karen of Tuckerville, Oklahoma, 1 daughter Cindy Teel and husband Donnie of Sperry, Oklahoma. Nine grandchildren, Fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Sisters Billie Sibley of Fritch, Texas and Freda Johnson of San Jancito, Indiana. Sisters in law, Reta Wells of Reydon and Cleta Wells, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives and a special friend Cheryl Hartley.
