Martha Alice Bruten Gray

Martha Alice Bruten Gray was born on September 3, 1882 in Texas and died May 3, 1946 at the age of 63 years and eight months.

She married Arthur Gray near Mountain View, Oklahoma, January 19, 1901.

They spent their lives in western Oklahoma and moved to the Reydon community in 1920 where they have since resided.

She was the mother of nine children, three of whom preceded her in death.

Her husband passed on December 14, 1943.

She united with the Baptist church at an early age and was always a faithful Christian wife, mother, and friend, and has passed on to her reward.

Those who mourn her passing are her daughters, Mrs. Jewell Patterson of Richmond, Virginia; Mrs. Jessie Clines of Reydon; Mrs. Agnes Wilhelm of Dumas, Texas; Mrs. Rosa Lea Anderson of Cheyenne; and two sons, Darrell H. Gray of Compton, California; and Harolde L. Gray of the home address; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers.

Rev. H. Woodard preached the funeral sermon.

Interment was in White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
