Charles Alfred Doty of Reydon, Oklahoma died Monday evening, December 29, 1975 in Roger Mills County Hospital in Cheyenne.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 31, 1975, in the Reydon Community Building with Rev. Lynn Heard and Rev. Eddie Overstreet officiating.

Burial was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

He was born August 7, 1895, in Conway, Arkansas.

He came with his parents to Cotton Store and married Gladys Nilnetta Reynolds June 9, 1917, in Oklahoma City.

He moved to Rankin in 1929 and later to Reydon.

In 1972 he moved to Colorado to live with his daughter.

He returned to Reydon November 26, 1975.

He was a member of the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers.

Survivors are one daughter, Naomi J. Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Vernon Eugene Doty of Sacramento, California; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Jewel Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
