James Arthur Daniel was born April 26, 1957 in Canadian, Texas to Fredia Mae and Wade Hampton Daniel.

He went to be with the Lord April 1, 2003 at the age of 45 years, 11 months, and 5 days.

James had a great love for fishing and hunting but his greatest love was for the Lord.

He was an ordained minister.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; two brothers; and two sisters.

Graveside services were held Friday, April 4, 2003 at 10:00 at White Rose Cemetery, officiated by Fred King under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.

Survivors include his mother, Fredia Mae Daniel of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruth Holley of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Linda Holley and husband Cecil of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Floe Keith and husband Joe of Perry, Oklahoma; four brothers, Bruce and Daniel and wife Claudine of Snyder, Oklahoma; William Daniel and wife Sharon of Woodward, Oklahoma; Ray Hughes and wife Rita of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Les Hughes of Snyder, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friendfs.
