Albert Russell "Buck" Couch

Funeral services for Albert Russell "Buck" Couch were held Thursday, August 4, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. from the Fatheree-Albert Chapel, with Bob Greene officiating. Mr. Couch died August 1, 1988 at the Sayre Memorial Hospital.

He was born May 29, 1910 in Trinchera, Colorado to Joseph Franklin and Mary Olive Fisk Couch.

On May 1, 1937 in Erick, Oklahoma he was married to Ina Jewel Kelley. Following their marriage, they lived in Dumas, Texas before returning to Erick in 1971. He was a rancher most of his life.

Survivors include one daughter, Billy Jo Vigus of Erick, Oklahoma; three sons, Benny Lee Couch of Amarillo, Texas; Hughy Dee Couch of Rockport, Texas; and Jackie Lynn Couch of Dumas, Texas; one sister, Daisy Edwards of Tacoma, Washington; one brother, Jack Couch of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Ray Hughes, Kenneth Reed, Randy Allen, Jodie Allen, Bill Harmon and Judge Owens.

Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home of Erick.
