Posted by Jo AguirreMary Ann Batchelor was born May 24, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Doris Jean and Charles Billie Batchelor. She passed away October 7, 2010 at Kingfisher, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years 4 months and 12 days.Mary Ann grew up and attended school in Reydon until moving to Okarche Oklahoma where she lived at the Center of Family Love. Mary Ann participated in and attended the Special Olympics many times all over the United States. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, watching TV, shopping and helping with the other residents of the Center Of Family Love. Mary Ann also enjoyed taking care of her cats and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother Billy DeWayne Batchelor and an infant brother.
She is survived by her mother Doris Jean, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 brother Gary Batchelor and wife, Christy Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 sister-in-law Barbara Batchelor, Ek City, Oklahoma; nephews, Chris Batchelor and wife, Trish, Elk City, Oklahoma, Pat Cordell and wife, Krissy, Elk City, Oklahoma, Jason Cordell and wife, Misty, Elk City, Oklahoma, Shamen Batchelor Cheyenne, Oklahoma; nieces, Garyn Batchelor, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Jordon Lindburg, Hobart, Oklahoma; several great nieces; special cousin Bill Yowell, Reydon, Oklahoma; special friends Pete and Susie Thurmond, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.
Series were held Monday October 11, 2010 at Reydon First Baptist Chruch officiated by Brother Ron Henning.
Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.
