Mrs. Nancy E. Lawson Amend passed away Sunday, November 1, 1970 at her home following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Erick, officiating were Rev. Walter Knox and Rev. George Ridley.
She was born December 18, 1904 at Duke, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Amend was married August 15, 1933 at Arnett to Willie A. Amend. They lived at Reydon and later Crawford and have been Erick residents 26 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.M
Survivors are her husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Wright of Route 2, Reydon, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jimmie Edwards of Cheyenne; Donnie Wright of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Brenda and Davis Wright of Reydon; two sisters, Mrs. Ruthie Turner of Turlock, California; and Mrs. Lila Wyatt of El Reno, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers were W. L. King, Elea Cley, Jess Hartley, Martin Scrinver, J. C. Bohannon and Henry Genzzell.
Interment was at the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, with Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in charge.
