Funeral services were held December 18, 1968 for Miss Gertrude Hanna in the Wells Street Church of Christ, Pampa, Texas with graveside services and burial in Union Chapel cemetery, North of Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, by her parents, M.E. Hardin, her pastor, was assisted by R.J. Stevens, pastor of the Central Church of Christ.
Gertrude Hanna was born October 17, 1886 in San Saba County, Texas to Jacob and Emily Hanna and passed aaway Thursday, December 26, 1968 in a Pampa hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters. She leaves to mourn one sister, (Mrs.) Alice Posey, of Pampa, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
The Hanna family moved to near Cordell about 1898 and to Roger Mills County in 1900. They had lived near Reydon until 1950 when she and her sister Mrs. Posey moved to Pampa, Texas, for employment.
She was a faithful member of Wells Street Church of Christ. Andrew Garver was her nephew.
