Billie A. Scott Vincent was born April 15, 1929 in Strong City, Oklahoma to Bertha Mae and George Loyd Scott. She passed away April 23, 2008 at Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years and 8 days.

Billie graduated from Strong City High School before attending Oklahoma A & M College in Stillwater.

She was married to Wallace Gene Vincent at Strong City, Oklahoma on September 29, 1949.

They lived in Cheyenne before moving to Oklahoma City in 1951. After Wallace was discharged from the United States Marines they lived in Placentia, California for a number of years before moving to Sayre in 1987 to make their home.

Billie was very artistic and was known for her doll creations.

She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant daughter; one brother, George Loyd Scott, Jr.; and three nephewss, Gary Don, Glen and LaMar Lamb.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Stewart and husband, Paul of Guthrie, Oklahoma; one son Donald R. Vincent of Sayre, Oklahoma; two sisters Betty Lamb of Sayre, Oklahoma; and Lonna Mae Long of Hacienda Heights, California; three brothers Bobby Scott of Strong City, Oklahoma; Harold Scott of Sayre, Oklahoma; Gary Scott of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law Sharon Scott of Roswell, New Mexico; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cheyenne First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Milton Gage.

Burial was held in Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
