Jimmy Dean Bruton was born June 6, 1959 in Wellington, Texas to Barbara and James N. Bruton and passed away May 14, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 33 years, 11 months and 8 days.
Jimmy Dean moved with his family to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 1969.
He attended Cheyenne Schools before joining the U.S. Navy in 1977 where he served for two years. After his discharge he returned to Cheyenne and continued his education at Sayre Junior College and went on to receive his Bachelors Degree in Health Technology. After his graduation he moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he went to work for Dr. Males at the Midwest City Clinic.
In 1986 he moved to St. Louis, Missouri where he was currently supervisor of the Chemistry Lab at St. Elizabeth Hospital and was also pursuing his Masters Degree at the University of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and J. W. Little of Strong City, Oklahoma; father, Jim of Shamrock, Texas; one brother, Steve of Moreno Valley, California; his maternal grandmother, Gertrude Johnson Mayhugh of Wellington, Texas; one aunt and uncle, Vickie and George Porter of Wellington, Texas; one uncle and aunt, Dwight and Pat Bruton of Clute, Texas; three cousins, Clay Porter of Wellington, Texas; and Eric and Lance Bruton of Clute, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 1993 at the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma officiated by Willard Cox.
Arrangements were under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
