Ira Richard Blann of Cheyenne, died Thursday, February 16, 1967 at the Cheyenne Convalescent Home following an extended illness. Services were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Robert Webb.

Born May 1, 1895 in Harden, Missouri, Mr. Blann came to Cheyenne in 1902 from McFall, Missouri.

He was a member of the Baptist church and was an auto mechanic by trade.

Survivors are his wife, Lula of Cheyenne; one step daughter, Mrs. Paul Smith of Cheyenne; two stepsons, Chester Moore of Lapuente, California; John Moore of Okeechobee, Florida; one grandson Raymond Guase of Las Vegas, Nevada; one brother Ray of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Dela Green of Kirksville, Missouri; and Mrs. Elizabeth Baucher of Stockton, California.

Casketbearers were Ernie Haight, Bill Batchelor, Paul Beavin, Hub Bradshaw, Harry Dearing, Babe Frankford, Ralph Hanawalt, Wallace Payne, Ralph Kirk and Bill Chalfant.

Committal was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with arrangements by Scroggins and Son Funeral Home.
