Services for Mary Belle Thompson Stauber, wife of the late Robert J. Stauber, were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Crawford school auditorium with Rev. F. D. Martin preaching the sermon.
Burial was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the auspices of Scroggins Funeral Home of Cheyenne.
Mrs. Stauber was born February 20, 1882 and died June 2, 1952.
She is survived by one son, James Stauber; four daughters, Ruth Blackstock of Lamesa, Texas; Mrs. Eva Hody of Espanola, New Mexico; Mrs. Bobby Jo Whoten of Avant, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Margerie Martin of Crawford, Oklahoma.
Four brothers and one sister survive, Will Thompson of Cheyenne; Wallace Thompson of McAlester, Oklahoma; L. N. Thompson of Granada, Colorado; Sherman Thompson of Lamar, Colorado; and Mrs. Bert Porter of Canadian, Texas.
Casket bearers were George Wright, Fred Young, Charlie Gilliland, Walter Aderholt, Charlie Parker and Dan Cline.
