Scott Pierce Springer was born July 10, 1901 in Green City, Missouri. He departed this life June 29, 1972.
He came to Oklahoma in 1902, with his parents to what is still the home place.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was united in marriage February 26, 1930 to Mary Mae Goin.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; five daughters, Mae Sue Bright of Crawford; Sylvia Cagle of McLoud, Oklahoma; Ressie Sadler of Cheyenne; Dora Ford of Cheyenne; and Carolyn MacArthur of Farmington, Michigan; three sons, Loyd of Waco, Texas; Scott J. of Bothell, Washington; George W. of Reydon; twenty one grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister, Mamie Reynolds of Crawford; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Interment in Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
