Mary Mae Goin Springer was born February 21, 1908 in Emma, Texas to Sarah Wilder and George Washington Goin.
She passed away June 7, 2003 in an Elk City Nursing Home, Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 95 years, 3 months and 16 days.
Mary attended school at Cedar Spring near Roll, Oklahoma.
She was married to Scott Pierce Springer in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma on February 26, 1930 and they made their home near Roll where they raised eight children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Sylvia Cagle and Carolyn Sims; one great grandson, Ryan; and one great great grandson, J. J. Cogburn.
Survivors include three daughters, Dora Hammond and husband, Loyd of Reydon, Oklahoma; Ressie Sadler and husband, Wayne of Reydon, Oklahoma; Mae Sue Bright of Crawford, Oklahoma; three sons, George W. Springer and wife, Alexia of Crawford, Oklahoma; Loyd Springer and wife, Shirley of Waco, Texas; Scott J. Springer and wife, Nancy of Bothell, Washington; twenty one grandchildren; thirty two great grandchilden; five great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial in Silent Home cemetery, Roll.
