Alexia Ann Springer was born December 23rd, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jewel Priscilla (Easterling) and Alex Thomas Inman. She passed away June 4, 2020 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 12 days.
 

Alexia grew up in Reydon, Oklahoma where she attended and graduated from Reydon High School in 1966. She was later married to George “Willie” William Springer at Sayre, Oklahoma on May 29, 1968. After their marriage they lived in Reydon while she attended beauty college in Clinton, Oklahoma. In 1972 they purchased the Springer homestead in Roll, Oklahoma where they raised their family. Then she was employed with the Crawford schools where she drove a bus and later worked at the Roger Mills County Memorial Hospital as a CNA. When their family grew and grandchildren came into the picture, Alexia began keeping her grandchildren and great grandchildren along with being a caregiver for her mother for several years. In her free time she enjoyed ceramics, taking care of animals, but most of all cherished the title of Memaw and Nene. Alexia was baptized at a young age and is a member of the First Baptist Church at Reydon.


She is preceded in death by her parents.


Alexia is survived by her husband, Willie, of the home; 2 children, Gayla Ann Barker and spouse, Pam Lowery, Yukon, OK and George Inman Springer and wife, Misty, Crawford, OK; 2 grandchildren, Cassie Drake and husband, Michael, Cheyenne, OK and Kaylie Walker and husband, Cody, Crawford, OK; 2 great grandchildren, Alison Jewel Drake, Emery Michelle Drake and a host of other relatives and friends.
 

The family suggest that memorial donations be made to the Magnolia Baptist Church or the Silent Home Cemetery.
 

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 8, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Magnolia Baptist Church in Crawford, Oklahoma.

Burial will follow at Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service- West.
