Joe Alec Robinson of Crawford, died Friday, April 25, 1969 at the Cheyenne hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral services were held Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Crawford gymnasium with M. C. Jackson, minister, and Darrell Bell officiating.
Born April 27, 1907 at Meridian, Texas, Mr. Robinson was married October 19, 1933 to Anna Mitchell Farmer at Sayre.
They moved to Crawford in Roger Mills county in 1934 from Carter.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Nell Jackson of Kingfisher; one son, James Earl of Oklahoma City; one grandchild; two brothers, Homer and Mark; one step brother, Johnnie Leach; and five sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Davidson, Mrs. Effie Brodbrick, Mrs. Ruth Tindell, Mrs. Violet Brayfield and Mrs. Gladys Tapor.
Pall bearers were nephews, Marion Davidson, Waymond Hall, Jimmy Dorman, Ray Robinson, Bruce Tindell and John Robinson.
Honorary pall bearers were Leroy Bowers, Charlie Gilliland, Walter Aderholt, Rex Kendall, Chester Wright, Scott Springer, Bruce Tindell and John Robinson.
Committal was in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills county, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
