Mrs. Agnes Inez Daglish Rice of Cheyenne, died Tuesday, August 8, 1972 in Oklahoma City. Services were held Thursday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cheyenne Baptist Church, Rev. Milton Gage officiating.
Born April 22, 1898 at Moore, Mrs. Rice was married September 29, 1916 to Edward Allen Rice at Norman.
She came to Roger Mills County from Moore in 1937 and was a long time member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Daniel of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Gloria Kovar of Altus; four sons, Calvin of Altus; Kenneth of Cheyenne; Loyd of Edmond; Richard of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Albert Dagish, Frank and Hubert; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Rainbow and Mrs. Edith Lindley; fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Pallbearers wre Collier Tracy, Glenn Tracy, Albert Maddux, Sr., Ervie Payne, G. B. Payne and Donald Lucas.
Commital was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins and Son.
