Juretta Sue Martin Pearson was born November 8, 1942 in Sayre, OK, to Margie Stauber Martin and Lloyd Martin. She graduated from the Crawford OK School in 1960. Sue moved to Amarillo, TX at the age of 17 where she met her soul mate, Dean Pearson. They married in Cheyenne on May 19, 1963. They were blessed with one son, David Martin Pearson, on January 22, 1966. Sue accepted Christ as her Eternal Savior at the age of 12 and was baptized in a cow tank. She maintained a strong, committed love for her Lord and always prayed all of her friends and family might experience that freedom in their souls. Sue joined South Georgia Baptist Church in Amarillo in 1965 and continued as a member there until moving to the farm in 2007 when she joined Magnolia Baptist Church in Crawford, where she enjoyed serving until her death. Sue loved being involved in her community and would serve on any and every board or committee when she was asked. She loved being a sister to all her friends in the Sorosis Club. Sue also loved to garden and was already planning her planting schedule for this year.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, her older brother Ronnie Martin, an infant brother and her Beloved Husband Dean.

She is survived by her mother Margie Martin of Clinton, two sisters: Lloydelle Lester and husband Roger of Durham, and Christi Lanier of Weatherford, and her brother Joe Martin of Sanger, CA and her son David Martin Pearson and wife Tressa of Crawford and her precious grandson Adam Dean Pearson; and son Dirk Pittman and his family, and several nieces and nephews; and a vast number of other relatives and dear friends.

The family suggests memorials be to Magnolia Baptist Church, 8207 N. 1790 RD Crawford, OK 73628; Sorosis Club Food Baskets in Care of Karla Tracy, P. O. Box 364, Cheyenne, OK 73628.
