Nora Ann Edwards was born February 6, 1860 in Jameston, Tennessee.
She was married to Ambrose Allen Parmley on February 6th, 1876. To this union ten children were born, eight daughters and two sons. Her husband and two of the children preceded her in death.
Survivors are Mrs. Beulah Smith of Jamestown, Tennessee; W. A. Parmley of Goree, Texas; J. W. Parmley of Crawford, Oklahoma; Mrs. J. P. Painter of Sunray, Texas; Mrs. W. A. Pierce of Hereford, Texas; Mrs. John C. Crow of Allison, Texas; Mrs. J. W. Bland of Hedley, Texas; Mrs. F. E. Bull of LeFors, Texas; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was comverted and joined the Methodist church in early childhood and lived a consecrated Christian life.
Services were conducted in the Silent Home chapel with Rev. Ray Menard of Erick officiating.
She was laid to rest by the side of her husband in the Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Tunnard Funeral Home of Cheyenne had charge of the burial.
