Jimmy Dean McCaskill was born September 16, 1948 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Sadie Sarah and James Lawrence McCaskill.
He passed away January 29, 2013 at Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 13 days.
Jimmy grew up Roger Mills county before moving to Burns Flat, Oklahoma in 1988.
In 2007 he moved to Walsenburg, Colorado with his sister Mary to live with his niece Barbara.
Although Jimmy had Downs Syndrome he touched the lives of all his family and many friends with his smile.
His two greatest loves was Elvis Presley and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Lawrence, Jr., Gene, Ralph and Sam Edward; and one sister, Sadie Haney.
He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Parkhurst of Walsenburg, Colorado and Ruby Baker of Marlow, Oklahoma; one brother, John McCaskill of Gentry, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held today, February 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Whinery-Savage Chapel officiated by Rev. Juanice Parkhurst.
Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
