Willis moved with his parents from Leedey at the age of 8 east of the
Roll community before moving near where the Spring Creek Lake is now
located. He married Lennie Corretta Gillispie on March 31, 1942 in
Amarillo, TX and they made their home in the Crawford and Durham
communities where Willis farmed and worked with the county. He was a
member of the Crawford Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and infant sister,
June Hill, Josephine Albright, Mildred Ward, Edna Calvert and 4
brothers, Floyd, Lowell, Doyle and James. He is survived by his wife of the home, 2 daughters, Bea and Jay
Rollmann of Oklahoma City, Teena Damron, Winslow, AZ, 2 sons and
daughtgers-in-law, Sam and Colleen Malson, Grand Prarie, TX, Darrel and
Dawn Malson, Durham, OK, 2 sisters-in-law, Bonnie Malson, Hammon, OK and
Hazel Malson, Cheyenne, OK, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a
host of other relatives and friends.
Services were Monday, January 18, 1999 at the Crawford Church of Christ
officiated by Ray Don Jackson and assisted by Larry Spurlin.
Interment
was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, OK under the
direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service
