Mable Glynn Bowman Cobb was born in Vernice, Texas on August 30, 1902.
She was one of eleven children born to Jonathan M. and Henryetta Bowman.
She was united in marriage to Dick Cobb on November 17, 1917 at Mayfield, Oklahoma.
To this union was born a son, Fred of Strong City; a daughter, Francis Foster of Charleston, Arkansas; and Frank, a son who passed on in infancy.
She had been a member of the Church of Christ for the past 51 years.
Mrs. Cobb had been a resident of the Roll community for the past 40 years, among her many friends and neighbors.
After a short illness, she departed this life on August 27, 1969, at the age of 66 years, 11 months, and 27 days leaving much sadness in the hearts of her loved ones.
Besides her husband and two children, she is survived by a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Anderson of Longview, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Burial Silent Home cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
