Saliney Belle Underwood was born March 10, 1872 and departed this life March 28, 1949.
She was the oldest daughter of William Pruitt Underwood and Tabithia Ann Underwood of Haleyville, Alabama.
When eight years of age she moved with her parents to Paluxy, Texas. There she grew to womanhood and on May 21, 1895 she married James G. Bull.
In 1900 they moved from Texas to the present homestead and lived there since that time. To this union two sons and two daughters were born.
She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1896 and by her husband in 1915.
She was married to P. J. Bull, February 19, 1917.
Survivors include her husband of the home address; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Easley of Berlin; and Mrs. Zadie Moraine of Crawford; one son, A. D. Bull of Woodward; two granddaughters, Marvona Sue Easley and Marcia K. Bull; two brothers, Jim Underwood of Bluff Dale, Texas; Lee Underwood of Glen Rose, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Josie Howell of Knox City, Texas; Mrs. Susie McCoy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Luella Greer of Los Angeles, California; and Mrs. Tishie Matthis of Walnut Springs, Texas.
She was a devoted and longtime member of the Church of Christ; a true pioneer mother who was always kind and loving and always thought of the needs of others first.
Burial in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
