William Thomas Beals was born October 20, 1895 at Coffeyville, Missouri to James David Beals and Emma Alice Rowland Beals, and passed from this life February 10, 1965.He came to Oklahoma Territory in 1901, and grew to manhood in the Armed Services during World War I.
He was united in marriage to Henry Etta Garrison on July 9, 1919, at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. To this union seven children were born four sons, Loyd of Sweetwater; Jim, Ray, and Harold of Strong City; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lacey of Durham; Mrs. Lois Sprowls of Cheyenne; and Mrs. Bernice Smith of Pampa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Etta of the home; seven children; one brother, Abe; five sisters, Emma Garcia, Nora Long, Lula Profitt, Dora Walraven and Etta Whitehouse; twenty one grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
He accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church.
Services were held Sunday, February 14, at 2:30 p.m. at the Crawford School with Rev. Clyde Denny and Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating.
Interment in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Scroggins and Son Funeral Home, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

William Thomas Beals, retired pioneer farmer, Strong City, died Wednesday February 10, 1965 in an Elk City hospital following a brief illness. Services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Crawford School with Rev. Clyde Denney and Rev. Lloyd Martin officiating.
Born October 29, 1895, in Missouri, Mr. Beals came to eastern Oklahoma in 1901 and to Roger Mills county in 1927.
He was married July 9, 1919, to Henry Etta Garrison at Cheyenne.
Survivors are his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Lacey of Durham; Mrs. Lois Sprowls of Cheyenne; and Mrs. Berniece Smith of Pampa, Texas; four sons, Jim, Harold and Ray of Strong City, and Lloyd of Sweetwater; one brother, Abe of Fayettville, West Virginia; five sisters, Lula Proffitt of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; Mrs. Etta Whitehouse of Aberdeen, Washington; Nora Long of Peonia, Colorado; Dora Walarven of Libby, Montana; and Emma Garsher of Grand Junction, Colorado; twenty one grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Committal was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
