His father preceded him in death on February 10, 1965.
Harold trusted in Jesus Christ as his Savior in 1955 and lived a dedicated Christian life.
He was always active with the youth of his church.
He was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church in Crawford, Oklahoma.
His joy and delight was in seeing lost souls come to Jesus and seeing the dedication of Christian's life to God’s perfect will. We have seen the tears of joy and heard the praises given to God that comes when these things happen. He always strove for improvement in his life. In his service to the Lord, he studied to show himself approved unto God, to be a perfect son of God, living the saved life to its sanctification and he evidently reached that point in life earlier than most men.
He loved God and his work. Men loved him and he loved them for the cause of Christ.
The tears of sorrow, but in our hearts we have great peace, knowing that at the blessed hope of our Lord's appearing, to them wherein we shall, rejoice together evermore.
Pallbearers were Blaine Barber, Steve Lippencott, Charles Keahey, Tony Young, Joe Don Martin and Jerry Bright.
