Curtis “Gene” Gamble, 59-year-old resident of Elk City, OK, passed from this life on June 4, 2020 in Elk City, OK.  Gene was born in May of 1961 to Delbert Wayne and Peggy (Campbell) Gamble in Portsmouth, Virginia.  He grew up in Portsmouth attending school there and working in construction with his brother Bobby.  Gene then made his home in Elk City.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. 


Gene is preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Peggy Gamble, brother Gregg Gamble, grandparents Debs and Ruby Gamble, and uncle L.R. Holley. 
 

He is survived by his step mother Linda Gamble of Elk City, OK; three brothers Chad Gamble of Elk City, OK, Bobby Gamble and Mike Gamble both of Virginia; uncle Kenneth Gamble and his wife Deanna of Leedey, OK; aunt Wanda Holley of Shattuck, OK; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. 
 

Burial was at Red Star Cemetery in Leedey, OK.
