Services for Guy Winfred Smallwood were conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Hammon, with Rev. Cleo Martin, pastor officiating. Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Guy W. Smallwood was born July 14, 1896 near Ardmore, Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, October 22, 1953, in an Oklahoma City hospital following a two week illness.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Bettye Earle Smallwood of Cottonwood, Arizona; stepchildren, Eddie L. Allee of Los Angeles, California; Bobby Gene Allee of Oklahoma City; six sisters, Mrs. C. E. White of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Ruth Adams, Mrs. G. L. Dunlap, Mrs. J. L. Gordy, and Miss Evelyn Smallwood, all of Oklahoma City; and Mrs. James McDonald of Brownwood, Texas; two brothers, Chester Smallwood and Kenneth Smallwood, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren; as well as numerous friends.
