Funeral services for LaCreta Robinson were conducted Monday, July 6, 2009 from the Martin Funeral Chapel of Elk City with Billy Allen officiating. Interment was at Red Hill cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
LaCreta Hutchinson Robinson was born August 8, 1917 at Oklahoma City to Emmett and Edna Winters Hutchinson and passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at the age of 91.
She was raised in Hammon where she graduated from Hammon High School.
She was married to John Evert Robinson on March 8, 1937 at Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Robinson was a teacher for some 32 years, teaching everything from pre-school to adult education.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lecie Calvert.
Survivors include her husband, John Evert Robinson of Killian, Louisiana; one son, John Kyle Robinson of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one daughter, Carolane Le Robinson McNees of Santa Fe, New Mexico; one granddaughter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
