Funeral services for, Laura Matilda Dykes Bradford Duncan were conducted at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with Dean Looper of Elk City; and Keith Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Laura Bradford Duncan was born July 24, 1917 in Roger Mills County and departed this life August 15, 1977, at the age of 60 years, 21 days.
She grew up and attended school in Roger Mills county and was married to Claude Bradford at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death September 9, 1970.
She was married a second time to Randall Duncan on July 28, 1972 at Woodward, Oklahoma where she lived at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband of the home in Woodward; and two daughters, Mrs. Claudette Ross of Elk City; and Mrs. Sherry Gwartney of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Odessa Benn of Elk City; and Mrs. Ronnie Mae Walker of Denison, Texas; two brothers, Clay and Wesley Dykes, both of Elk City; also three grandchildren, Steven Lannett and Johnny Ross and Aaron Gwartney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Wesley M. Bradford who was killed in a car accident in 1972.
