Funeral services for Andy Guy Creach, Sr., were held December 13, 1989 in the First Baptist Church of Hammon.
Andy was born May 21, 1903 in Hammon and died December 11, 1989 at his home.
He was the last surviving member of his family that lived in Hammon.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Creach, who came to Hammon in 1900.
He graduated from Hammon High School and attended business school in Oklahoma City.
He farmed the same farm on which he was born until retiring in 1985.
He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Hammon.
He married Effie D. Snook August 5, 1925 at Elk City and she survives him. Other survivors include one daughter, JoElene Haines of Elk City; five grandchildren, Timothy Haines and Mary Estrada, both of Elk City; Marty Creach of Cheyenne; Lynn Chamberlain and Matt Creach of Hammon; two sisters, Mary Lippencott and Etta Creach of Clinton and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, A. G. Creach, Jr., in 1983; a grandson, David Haines in 1982; and a great granddaughter, Trina Haines in July of 1989.
Burial was in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
