Funeral services for Clarence Earl Brown will be conducted Friday, June 13, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hammon Methodist Church with Rev. David Sanders officiating.
Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home.
Earl Brown was born June 28, 1903 one and one-half miles east of Hammon and passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 87.
He attended Pie Flat and Hammon schools.
He was married to Flora Parks, December 2, 1922 and she preceded him in death in September of 1983. They spent their life farming and ranching in the Herring and Hammon communities.
Earl volunteered his time and efforts for many years on the Herring School Board, ASCS board, the FHA Board, the Hammon City Board and many years as the Mayor of Hammon.
He was a member of the Hammon Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Jack and June Warner and Dale and Jean Johnson of Hammon; one brother, Merton Brown of Dinuba, California; three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The Family requests donations be made to the Hammon Methodist church or the American Heart Association.
