Funeral services for Clyde Edward Bottom were Monday, December 29, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the Strong City Baptist Church with R. B. Mathis officiating.
Internment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City, Oklahoma.
Clyde Edward Bottom was born October 14, 1935 near Union Center in Roger Mills County to Clyde and Agnes Hughes Bottom and passed away Friday, December 26, 2003 at the age of 68.
He graduated from Hammon High School and then worked in Pampa, Texas for a short time before starting a career as a Game Ranger.
He farmed and ranched most all of his working career with a special love for horses.
He retired from being a Game Ranger in 1965.
Clyde was married to Nancy Henson in March of 1967.
He was an active member of the Strong City Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Essie Bottom; and his sister, Doris Bradshaw.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Bottom of the home; three children; Tena Mailer of Gallatin, Missouri; Lori Alford of Cheyenne; and Brad Bottom and his wife Kara of Cheyenne; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Bottom of Reydon, Oklahoma.
