Loyal Don Bailey was born October 21, 1959 in Elk City, Oklahoma and passed away October 16, 1991 at the age of 31 years, 11 months and 25 days.
Don, the son of Ocie Franklin and "Billie" Bailey graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1978.
He then moved to Colorado where he worked as an outfitter before moving back to Cheyenne in 1980.
On September 25, 1981 he married Janice Kay Salder in Reydon, Oklahoma and they made Cheyenne their home where he was working for Roger Mills County as a heavy equipment operator.
Don attended the Baptist Church in Strong City.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one sister, Toni.
He is survived by his wife, Janice of the home; one daughter, Shelby Dawn Bailey; and one son, Ocie Doyal Bailey, both of the home; his parents, Ocie and Billie Bailey of Cheyenne; his mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Ressie Sadler of Reydon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynn and Jan Bailey of Cheyenne, Oklahoma and Dusty and Lamanda Bailey of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; one sister, Kristy Bailey of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, October 18, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. in the Strong City Baptist Church with Kenneth Gamble officiating.
Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Rose Chapel Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
