Lloyd William Blundell, 75 of Cheyenne was born September 22, 1907 to Mr. and Mrs. Claud Blundell in Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma and passed away Sunday, May 22, 1983.
Mr. Blundell attended school at Pie Flat.
On August 3, 1932 he was married to Ruby Pearl Miller in Crawford, Oklahoma. They moved to Cheyenne in 1945 and lived here at the time of his death.
Mr. Blundell was a retired trucker.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Pearl of the home; two daughters, Delores Chapman of Malbank, Texas and Carolyn Harrington of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Rodney Mark Harrington and DeWayne Lloyd Chapman; one brother, Harlie Blundell of Crawford, Oklahoma; four nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, May 25, 1983 in the Magnolia Baptist Church, Crawford, Oklahoma with A.L. Martin and Aubrey Cowan officiating. Burial followed in the Pie Flat Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Rodney Mark Harrington, DeWayne Chapman, Wayne Barber, Woodrow Barber, Jimmy Blundell and Donald Morrison.
Honorary Pall bearers were Ted Haight, Frank Barber, A. J. Reeves, Price Howell, Jack Barton, R. J. Frankford and Lawrence Dick.
Rose Chapel Funeral Services of Cheyenne were in charge of arrangements.
