Edgar Lee Blundell was born March 2, 1924 at Crawford, Oklahoma to Blanch and the late Claud Blundell and departed this life January 28, 1958, near Perryton, Texas at the age of 33 years, 10 months and 26 days.
He has lived in or near Perryton, Texas for the past eleven years.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Navy.
He was united in marriage to Charlotte Wolfrum November 28, 1952. To this union were born two children, Stacy Lynn, four years of age and Sandra Lee, two years.
He leaves to mourn his passing besides his wife and two children, his mother, Mrs. Blanch Blundell of Crawford and two brothers, Lloyd of Cheyenne and Harley of Crawford; one sister, Mrs. Lois Morrison of Crawford; his grandmother, Mrs. Clara Barber of Crawford; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 31 at the school gymnasium in Crawford, Oklahoma. Rev. Lloyd Martin and Rev. Arthur L. Golden will preside over the services.
Interment in Pie Flat Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers are Joe Merritt, J. B. Eakins, Floyd Davis, Rex Dickison, Russell Ellis and Willard Young.
