Willard Walker, age 72, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away January 17, 1987 at his home after a lingering illness and a heart attack.
He was the son of the late Curt and Dicie Walker of the Five Star and Sayre communities.
He was raised on a farm east of Roll and spent his childhood there till he married and joined the Army.
He was married to Juanita Briggs of Cheyenne.
Willard was a World War II veteran and a retired mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Jaunita; one daughter, Willa Jean Glaze; two sons, Dennis Walker of Corpus Christi; and Curtis Earl Walker of San Diego, California; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Sabrina {Sue} Pierce of Oakley, California; and five brothers, Orland Walker of Bend, Oregon; Terry of Pottsboro, Texas; H. C. of Fremont, California; Haskell of Pleasant Hill, California; Jimmie W. of Colcord, California; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt and Dicie Walker and one infant brother.
Willard was well known in this community and the Three Corner community and was loved by many friends.
