Helen Theodora Provines Turbyfill, age 86, passed away in the her home in Sequim, Washington January 28, 2000.
She was born July 29, 1913 near Rankin, Oklahoma to James Wesley and Mettie Provines.
She attended grade school at Midway and graduated from high school at Custer City, Oklahoma.
Helen and Charlie Turbyfill were married June 26, 1933.
Their son, Kelly Neil Turbyfill, was born August 7, 1938.
She was a faithful member of the Christian Bible Church in Sequim.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; three sisters, Marion and Mae Provines and Cleo Clay; two brothers, Raymond and Robert Provines; and a niece, Helen Marie Provines.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie and son Kelly of Sequim, Washington; a brother and sister-in-law, Loyd and Naomi Provines of Oklahoma City; a brother-in-law, Marvin Turbyfill and wife;six nieces and seven nephews, Bula Mae Sides of Durham; Gertrude Flesher of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Russell Clay of Reydon, Oklahoma; Dean Robinson of Follett, Texas; Hester Millemon of Rolla, Kansas; Kenneth Clay of Hysham, Montana; Mildred Harrison of Attica, Kansas; Gene Provines of Wichita, Kansas; June Griffin of Waurika, Oklahoma; and James, Bob, Steven and John Provines.
Funeral services were Wednesday, February 2, 2000 in Sequim, Washington with burial in Sequim View Cemetery.
