Funeral services were held in Los Angeles, California on January 20, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. Burial was at the Veterans Cemetery for Ira Loyd Summers, 53, of 3331 West 54th Street, Los Angeles.
Loyd, who died January 12, 1969 had been employed by Rogers and McDonald Publishers, Inc. for eight years.
Born near Crawford, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma, he moved to Los Angeles in 1940.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Gladys Summers of Cheyenne; one sister, Mrs. W. O. Roof of Canton; four brothers, Cleo of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Harm of Elk City, Oklahoma; and Harley and Everett of Ft Worth, Texas.
