Funeral rites were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Christian church for Cecil J. Rhoton, ranch foreman on the Thurmond ranch near Wheeler, Texas.
Mr. Rhoton underwent an operation for appendicitis on October 2 and died Monday, October 10, 1932.
He had been employed as foreman on the Thurmond ranch near Wheeler, Texas during the past eight years.
He was born September 30, 1892 in Bedford county, Tennessee.
He married Miss Beulah Mildred Farmer September 7, 1913, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Farmer of the Sandstone community.
His many friends in the community are grieved because of his untimely demise.
