One day he was with us smiling and the next day he was gone.

As I watched my dad suffer thru the disappearance I hoped we would find just a trace.

We never did and it was difficult, but the Lord helped us with time to just remember.

Dedicated to the memory of John Alva Porter who disappeared April 1969.
