Emmit Owens

Submitted by: Wanda Purcell

The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Owens and snatched from their embrace their lovely child, Emmit, age 11 months, 25 days.
He was a child of rare beauty and lovely disposition, the light of the home and pride of the parents.
He was too pure for this world of gloom and our heavenly Father transplanted the tender flower in paradise where it will bloom and flourish throught eternity.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist Church, and conducted by Bros. William and Sessiums. The occasion was solemn and impressive.
Weep not as those who have no hope.
